Research Showcase
South Devon University Centre takes great pride in the quality research that students and staff conduct year on year. This research is formally recognised at the student Research Showcase, an annual event which provides unique opportunity for final year degree students to share their research through presentations and posters, in addition to presentations from keynote industry and academic staff on their specialisms.
The showcase is designed to celebrate the scholarly success of Foundation Degree and BA/BSc students. As a key value of Higher Education, many of our degree programmes offer students the opportunity to undertake first-hand research activity, so it is right that we provide a platform for their discoveries to be shared.
More than 60 students present their research, alongside industry experts. It is a fantastic opportunity to support students with their presentations, along with developing knowledge on key topic areas, as well as gaining an insight into supporting future research. This event is divided into ten distinct showcases, representing the expansive range of University programmes on offer at South Devon University Centre.
Our most recent showcase was held in May 2024 and or next Research Showcase will be in May 2025.
