UCSD Creative Students Exhibit Work: Eyedentity

Cockington Court and Marissa Wakefield in association with the TDA (Torbay Development Agency)  offered University Centre South Devon creative students the opportunity to organise an exhibition of student work in The Hayloft titled “Eyedentity”.

The exhibition will be up for a week from Monday 26th April. Students from FdA Contemporary Arts Practice, FdA Illustration with Graphics and Animation, FdA Creative Digital Design, FdA Film and Photography are pitching their submissions to Cockington.

The work is part of individual university projects and is in a variety of media including painting, print, photography, textiles, film, ceramics and fashion.

Tutor Sam Aspden said, “We are thrilled to continue our long partnership with Cockington Court which is a fantastic creative resource for our students locally. The opportunity to work on industry projects is vital for employability, and we are thrilled to still be able to give students this experience in a challenging year”.

Cockington Court is excited to be opening its doors to the public again and this student is a fantastic addition to Cockington’s Spring opening.

FdA Contemporary Arts Practice student Brittany Moore said, “I’m excited to have this opportunity to showcase my work and educate an audience about the equality issues behind my work. It’s great to be able to exhibit as a student”.

Cockington Court are also thrilled to be continuing their long partnership with the students. Marissa Wakefield Director of Cockington Court Centre of Creativity said, “I am so pleased to be welcoming back such talented students from University Centre South Devon again to Cockington Court and to be working in partnership with Samantha Aspden. We really look forward to hosting their show at the Hayloft in April”.
